Pastor's Favorite Links

The sites below are among my favorite sites for Christian studies and encouragement. Since I do not control the content of the sites, I probably will not actually agree with everything they say. However, these sites are among my most visited links because they tend to have solidly helpful content. -- Pastor Travis Peterson

Study Resources:

Bible Study Tools on Crosswalk.com - This site is full of resources such as commentaries, dictionaries, concordances, history helps, and numerous searchable Bible translations. This site also contains a program to help you read through the Bible in one year as well as a great deal more.

DesiringGod.org - This web site contains resources from John Piper, pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Piper is a powerful preacher and excellent teacher. This well-maintained site contains a vast amount of resources including an archive of Piper's sermons.

Devotionals

Henry Blackaby Daily Devotion - This daily devotional is written by the author of "Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God." Blackaby presents very helpful thoughts in an easy to read and short format. This is worth reading on a daily basis.

John McArthur's Daily Devotion - McArthur is one of the best Bible teachers I have ever heard. His daily devotion is full of a depth of insight which is seldom found in modern devotional materials.

Morning & Evening by Charles Spurgeon - This is a classic devotion written by one of the most beloved preachers of all time.

Articles and Audio Sermons:

SBTS Speaker Archives - This set of recordings includes each semester's chapel addresses as well as archived conferences and lectures held at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. I loved my time studying at SBTS, and still find these resources very helpful, especially the chapel addresses which occur twice weekly.

R. Albert Mohler Weblog - This article, published every weekday, is a favorite of mine to read. Written by the president of SBTS, it focuses on a wide array of topics that impact the lives of believers.

Biblical Training - This site provides seminary-level lectures on a variety of topics for free.
