Nursery/Preschool Ministry
Children are a gift of the Lord..." Psalm 127:3

PARTNERING WITH PARENTS TO TOUCH THE FUTURE

A dedicated and loving staff works together to provide a secure, stimulating environment where your child can learn spiritual truths through a variety of programs. In connection with the broader mission of OSBC, all preschool learning experiences are God-centered and Bible Based. Sunday School curriculum is developmentally and Biblically appropriate in design to provide challenging opportunities through a variety of activities as children learn about God, Jesus, Church, family, nature, self and others. We hope to meet the needs of preschoolers and parents as we attempt to "touch the future" for Christ.

SUGGESTIONS FOR YOUR CHILD

  • Please clearly label all personal items - especially diaper bag, bottles, and other food containers
  • If for some reason you need to check on your child or pick him/her up during the service, please knock on the door.
  • Please notify the teacher if your child has allergies, especially food allergies.
  • Please bring disposable diapers (if necessary) and a change of clothing for your child.
  • Please avoid bringing toys from home.
  • Seperation anxiety is a normal part of child development. Do not "slip" away. Honestly remind him/her in a kind, firm voice that you will be back soon. Leave immediately. If your child cannot be comforted, we will page you. We will follow your wishes as to how long your child is allowed to cry before contacting you.
