Our Pastor

Travis Peterson, his wife Mitzi, and 3 year old Abigail moved to Olney, IL on Oct. 31, 2006 and began as the Pastor of OSBC on November 1, 2006. Their second child Josiah was born at the end of February in 2007. Travis and Mitzi are originally from Southern Illinois. Travis is from Dongola, IL and Mitzi is from Elkville, IL. They both received a Bachelors degrees from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Travis received his MDIV from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Before coming to OSBC, Travis pastored Christian International Church in Daejeon, South Korea. Our Secretary

Connie Cox became Olney Southern Baptist Church's secretary on October 1, 1993. Connie and her husband Terry are Olney residents. They have two children, and one grandchild.
